Summary

The Music Room was filmed back to back with the Splitscreen show in 2011, with Leon once again directing and Russell and Brendan from Nightmaker co-producing. The vision for The Music Room was to invite local bands to the studio to record a live acoustic set and record a brief interview afterwards.

The music room failed to find backing and was cancelled mid way through production, but not before a number of live sets were recorded.

One of those sets, would turn out to be one of the first recorded live performances of notable Irish band, Kodaline.
