Create all 3D assets to be used in-game and manage their implementation in-engine, preparing shaders and materials to be used with the final assets. This included all props, modular environment art assets, characters, character skins, vehicles and weapons totalling over 600 3D assets.
Analyze player trends and behaviors using a combination of Unity analytics and Steamworks telemetry data to help shape the final product. This included multiple Alpha and Beta builds specifically targeting our key markets, and focusing on in-game player behaviors, preferred input methods per-territory, level completion rates, player skins, multiplayer matchmaking, latency and CTA conversion rates. After each test, strategies would be developed with our publishing partner to schedule and implement any changes/improvements within our time and budgetary constraints.
Concept and implement all user interface elements in collaboration with the art director. This included all in-game menus, unlock artwork/rewards, pause screens, end level screens, settings menus and achievement/trophy artwork for Steam, Xbox and Playstation. Every UI element would be designed with simplicity and readability at the forefront and focus tested extensively.
Greyboxing and designing environments and puzzles in Blender and testing in Unity before handoff to designers to implement in game.
QA and bug testing. Track down, replicate and report bugs and blockers to our programming lead. Create detailed instructions of how to replicate bugs including videos and screenshots
